It was early 2018 when, in the back alleys of the old streets of Kashan, we came across a house at the end of a dead-end alley. Before that, we had heard the name of the Butchers’ Alley in the Darb Bagh neighborhood, but until then, our eyes had not been opened to its beauty. It was as if it was a rendezvous in the passage of time.

We arrived at the rendezvous. There was only dirt and silence. We were expecting to see a ruin of an ordinary house. But suddenly everything changed; it became what it was supposed to be!

It was strange, but at the same time, it was the elegance and beauty of the house that captivated us in a pile of dirt and surrounded by collapsed walls. Every corner we stepped into, connected us to memories, each of which reminded us of a story of love and kindness. We could hear the laughter of children who, eager to learn science and technology, circled around its pond. So we made up our minds to leave everything we had to touch those memories again.

It was obvious that we would have a difficult and exhausting path ahead of us, but the outpouring of love for the history, architecture, and culture of this land made our steps much more steadfast and determined. We spent our days and nights with this love to portray our dreams.

And now, after six years since that meeting, in Ordibehesht, 1403 AH, we are happy to share the sweetness of this dream with you, our dear ones. Balaban is the fruit of our romantic dreaming, which has now spread its wings to watch its guests make memories above the windbreaks of the mansion.

But this effort has no end; we will spend every moment of time with the love of meeting and hosting you in preparing a magnificent party so that we can shake your hands as you touch your dreams.
